Paper Abstract:
|
The project aims to develop an educational mobile application to reduce the culture shock that a sojourner experiences
upon arriving in a new country. This paper focuses on the early stage of the project. It first identifies the key design
issues based on sociological research and then explains the design of a prototype application. If successful, this project
will demonstrate how mobile learning can go beyond the simple transfer of knowledge, to tackling inherently difficult
and complex issues. |
